We run a national residential weekend, regional branch meet-ups and online events.

The easiest way to find out about our forthcoming events is to joinas a member. We email members details of relevant events. You can also follow our socials where we publicise events - links to these are at the top of the site.

Branch Events

1Voice regional branches aim to organise three meet-ups each year. Find more about our currently active branches at the links below:

We are collaborating with members and volunteers who are getting branch meet-ups happening in the East Midlands and Bournemouth/Poole areas. We’d love to cover more regions and can offer you support to set up a branch - get in touch if you’re interested or would like to know more! W

National Residential Weekend

Our main event is our National Residential Weekend. We have been running these popular events for 25 years. They offer fun group activities, support from skilled AAC role models and volunteers, parent workshop sessions and evening entertainment.

We are trialling a new event for over 18s in 2026, our Blackpool weekend. This is a less structured opportunity for older members to stay connected.

Online Events

We have regular online parent online chats. These are friendly, informal hour-long sessions to connect with other parents navigating life with AAC, share experiences, challenges and ideas.

1Voice fundraise to heavily subsidise events or be able to offer them free of charge.
