Regional Branches
1Voice branches organise casual get togethers in accessible venues. They offer more regular opportunities for AAC users and families to connect and are organised by volunteers, including trustees, AAC users, parents and professionals who support AAC users in their working lives.
Activities reflect the interests of the members and the locally available opportunities. They might include bowling trips, cafe meet ups, a picnic, venue visit or workshops. Members from other areas are always welcome to join any branch event.

Active Branches
1Voice Lakes & Bay
Our longest-standing branch, 1Voice Lakes & Bay celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2026. Events tend to be held in the Cumbria/ North Lancashire area. The group enjoy the annual boat trip, motor museum visit and forest park trip. We would love new members and volunteers to join this established, popular group.
1Voice Yorkshire & NE
This branch restarted in May 2023. They aim to meet up three times a year and tend to meet around the York/Huddersfield area. We would love to welcome you to meet new people, or catch up with friends.
1Voice Southwest
1Voice SW restarted as a group in 2024. They tend to meet around Bristol, Bath and Somerset but welcome members from anywhere. Following a fantastic one day event in the Bournemouth/Poole area in 2025, we are looking to establish activities in that area too.
1Voice East Midlands
A group of volunteers have started setting up activities in the East Midlands area. They are keen to welcome new members. Please contact Amanda and Jo on 1voiceeastmidlands@1voice.info.
