Branches

Our focus for next year will be on branch events. Organising events for our existing branches and getting more hands on deck to support them will be a top priority.

Online

We’ll continue online events, including the ‘Evening With’ role model led sessions and parent chats.

Recruiting

As Helen Dixon steps back from the board of Trustees, and Jo Cope moves on to a new job, the trustees will also focus on recruiting volunteers and trustees. If we are successful with fundraising and recruiting more support, we will then focus on recruiting paid administrative support.

Fundraising

Funding has become increasingly challenging for small charities like 1Voice. In the short term we will prioritise more affordable, regional and online events and explore ways to raise funds.

Demonstrating the ‘impact’ of 1Voice is something we need to get better at for successful funding applications.

We will enter another team in the London Marathon having secured places.

No residential

We won’t hold a national residential event due to high costs, fundraising challenges and a lack of capacity.
