1 Voice Dreams Workshop with Beth Moulam
1Voice Yorkshire and North East Branch welcomes all 1 Voice members new and old to join us and participate a Dreams Workshop run by Beth Moulam.
When: Saturday 5th December
Time: 10.30-3pm
Where: Hollybank Trust, Far Common Road Mirfield, WF14 0DQ
Meet me Frances in Reception, I’ll be wearing my black 1Voice t-shirt that says Trustee on the back. Find out more about me and see my photo here: Frances Marshall - 1Voice Trustee — 1Voice
What to expect: Day includes: facilitated dreams workshop, time for lunch (bring your own), time to socialise and a presentation from a 1Voice role model.
Who is this for: This event is primarily for AAC users but parents and siblings are welcome to come and dream too. AAC users will need a dream partner to participate if they need someone to scribe for them or facilitate their answers.
There are no age restrictions. The workshop is interactive.
You will leave with your own dream and plan on where to go next to implement it.
Your dream is all about you and doesn’t have to be big or fancy. Previous dreams have included anything from getting a pet, going on a special holiday to playing Boccia for England.

Refreshments: Hot drinks will be available, recommended donation £5 to support 1Voice’s future events. YOU NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH, crockery and cutlery. There is a dining room with microwaves and a fridge available.
Accessibility: Hollybank School is a special school and therefore is fully accessible throughout. There are accessible toilets with grab bars as well as changing benches and hoists. The school hall where we will be based has a ceiling hoist and a soft floor area for resting out of chairs. A quiet room is available. There are plenty of free parking spaces.
Thanks to: This event has been enabled by Beth our 1Voice Patron who has kindly donated this workshop. We also thanks Hollybank Trust who have donated use of their school hall and facilities.
If you feel a bit nervous or anxious about coming along, or want more information, you can email me (Frances) on frances@1voice.info and we can have a chat about it. We’re really looking forward to seeing you there.
