1Voice Our Stories (2018)

We are excited to share our latest film. It was filmed at our national residential weekend in July 2018. 1Voice members and volunteers share how they feel about being part of a unique charity committed to providing a network and support for those who use augmentative and alternative communication. This was our biggest event to date with almost 120 people being involved over the weekend, including 27 AAC users. Thank you to everyone who took part.

1Voice Blackpool (2009)

Jemima, now a Role Model for 1Voice, made this animation in 2009.

It was her work experience project when at Northern Counties School in Newcastle. Made at the Karten Media Centre (part of the Percy Hedley Foundation). It was created to advertise residential weekends organised by 1Voice - Communicating Together to support young communication aid and AAC users and their families. Jemima attended the weekends in Blackpool when younger, which inspired her to use her communication aid more creatively.
