AAC users, families, friends and supporters met for a day of activities and fun in Leeds.  It was held during the day, ahead of the opening of the Communication Matters Conference, at Leeds University.

The older AAC users participate in the activity "My dream for my future ...."

Although some light-hearted dreams were on the menu, participants also thought about important things in life such as where they would like to live, and what kind of support they would like.

Younger AAC users made their own "Let's Dream ....." books/presentations.

Lakes and Bay Steam Across Lake Windermere

1Voice Lakes and Bay went on the lake again. Despite the very wet weather we had a good day. As before Windermere Lakes Cruises gave us a free boat trip. We had to find a new lunch venue as the Carvery we used to go to had closed. The Village Inn in Bowness our new lunch venue was very nice, they gave us our own area and the food was very good. There was also plenty of time to chat. Jack and Charlotte did very well asking each other questions. Oli told everyone about his recent experiences on local radio and meeting Gareth Malone. After a good chat we went back into the rain and walked back to the jetty to get the boat back across the lake.
