Katie Clarke, Chair Katie is one of the founders of 1 Voice. She is dedicated to its growth and continuity and takes the major role in fundraising. Katie works voluntarily 1 day a week to organise events. Katie also chairs the Calderdale Parent and Carer's Council and gives talks on inclusion and improving services for disabled children and their family. One of Katie's daughters, Nadia, uses a Vmax.

Julie Bello, Treasurer

Julie has vast experience of working with charity finance both in the US and UK. Julie's daughter uses AAC.

Ann Morris, Member
Ann Morris, MBE, set up one of the first Volunteer Bureaux in the country - there is now one in almost every town. She developed a Council for Voluntary Service in Harrogate and became its Director. Now retired, her work has included running training courses, working with statutory and voluntary organisations, and establishing Forums to enable those who use services to have a voice in planning. 

Jane Handley - Volunteer Co-ordinator

Jane is a Speech and Language Therapist and volunteer. She has recently taken on the task of co-ordinating our dedicated team of volunteers to make events run smoothly!

Helen Dixon, Volunteer and Lakes & Bay Coordinator

Helen has been a regular and loyal volunteer since our first winter weekend in 2000. She  She is a speech and language therapist and has been running a local group for years. We are delighted that her well established and active group has decided to become a part of 1Voice.

Angie McCormack

Angie has been attending events with her family on a regular basis since the early days of 1Voice.
